Turning Problems into Opportunities for Startups
Starting with a public sector challenge, startups admitted into the four-month program will be co-located with government personnel and supported with funding, mentors, and resources to design and develop technology-enabled solutions for the challenge.
Last year the Victorian Government spent over $3 billion on goods and services. The CivVic Labs program offers a path to procurement dollars and contracts for Victorian startups.

Three rounds of the CivVic Labs will be delivered over two years to address up to 16 public sector challenges.
The first round of challenges were published in March 2019.
The second round of challenges will be published in September 2019. Get in touch with us ASAP if you’re interested in putting forward a challenge. There are only a few spaces left to participate in this round.
The third round of challenges will be published in 2020.
Working in a collaborative environment, government Challenge Owners will work with startups to co-design solutions to their identified challenges.
